Ararat 05:14
I watched the clouds assembling like soldiers, the ominous tools of a vast advancing army. And struck with fear, we clamored to find shelter, And then at once, the heavens in all their fury burst. Petulant we bowed down to the graven gods our hands have made. And raising our fists up to the sky rejoiced, "The time of man has come." Above the din, I hear the screams and curses, The ultimate gasp of a race doomed from creation. The land beneath dissolves into the darkness, Until at last, the torrent, it carries me away Petulant we bowed down to the graven gods our hands have made. And raising our fists up to the sky rejoiced, "The time of man has come." All the kingdoms of the earth collapse at the bidding of our creator. Once children of a mighty God, now traitors drowning in vengeful water. The flood has overtaken me. The flood has overtaken me... Petulant we bowed down to the graven gods our hands have made. And raising our fists up to the sky rejoiced. The time of man has come.

The River 04:51
I was born just another sinner, someone come untie me. I did my time in the river, would someone come untie me? Someone come untie me. I gave my alms to the widow, and I gave my bread to her son. I held my tongue in the presence of fools and fasted till the day was done. But I can faintly hear the trumpet sound, and I still wait with my hands bound. Someone come untie me. I tried running away, tried burying all my secrets but shallow graves won't hide these corpses of mine. And now that the water's rising, I need untying now. I was born just another sinner, someone come untie me. I did my time in the river, would someone come untie me? Someone come untie me. I ate the bread and drank the wine at the table of the Son of Man. And I fled from every temptation just about as far as anyone can. But I can hear the horsemen drawing near, and these old shackles keep me here. Someone come untie me. I tried running away, tried burying all my secrets but shallow graves won't hide these corpses of mine. And now that the water's rising, I need untying now. At last I see these bonds as they are — every lie and every careless word. And all this time, the god that I served was one I made in my own mind. But am I too late?

Angel Eyes 04:45
Still do I curse the day that my heart fell for you, enraptured by your smile, your eyes they seemed so true. Blissful and unaware, I chased you where you led, worshiped the very ground your lying feet would tread. Then I watched you walk away, from debts you haven't paid, and now I'm left to sort through all the wreckage in your wake. I am trying to breathe but the air burns up my lungs. And I am trying to speak, but your name ties up my tongue. I'm trying to heal, but the wounds continue to bleed. You are all that I despise, my angel eyes. Each day I spend alone I feel more like a fake, I put up a facade each moment I'm awake. But truth be told I'm tortured by every conscious thought. Bright eyes, you are the noose that's finally pulling taught. You're the shrapnel in my skin as it's tearing further in. And these dreams of you are time bombs that are ready to explode. I am trying to breathe but the air burns up my lungs. And I am trying to speak, but your name ties up my tongue. I'm trying to heal, but the wounds continue to bleed. You are all that I despise, my angel eyes. In the silence. In the empty space, you left me suffering like a bird with broken wings. I tried to fly, but I fell back down to earth. I am trying to breathe but the air burns up my lungs. And I am trying to speak, but your name ties up my tongue. I'm trying to heal, but the wounds continue to bleed. You are all that I despise...

Tell all my enemies that they will have their day. Their strength arrayed before me, their endless banners sway. Helpless at their advance, like a writhing evil sea. One by one the towers fall. Each bell, it tolls for me. Selah. In pride I rested soundly and cared not for my fate. Now arrows fall around me, my foes have breached the gate. These walls, once tall and mighty, erode as with the tide, and all those once loyal to me have perished by my side. Selah. But I will not give up the throne. I will fight till the end. And thousands will die by the wrath of my hands, before I will give up the throne. Please tell my family that I have met my end. Tell them I died with honor for the land I must defend. When my sons stoop in mourning, tell them they must be strong. For they must bear their mother's burdens and help her carry on. Selah. But I will not give up the throne. I will stand my ground until the end. And thousands will perish by the wrath of my hands, before I will give up the throne. Alas with armor pierced, I stumble to my knees. Calling out to God in heaven, I make my final pleas. Aloud through gasping breath as the blood pours through my hands, 'Will I be numbered among the heroes or buried with the damned?' But I will not give up the throne. I will fight till the end. And thousands will die by the wrath of my hands, before I will give up the throne. Selah.

Nero 05:28
Our tragedy starts when you kiss me, though our first couple acts read like poetry. We were just fools and we were falling in love. We thought that the world was our empire, laid out before us like royalty. Never a thought to how our story might end. I wan't you to know, I won’t let you go, though the empire crumbles around me. Well the doctors are trying to save you, but the light in your eyes is slowly slipping away. With your hand in mine, I swear I'll follow you home. This I promise you, I won’t let you go, though the empire crumbles around me. For you are mine to hold. Until the stars in the sky cease their burning, I’ll be with you.
